Just a reminder...
If you want to sign up for my Fall Nature Glimmer Mist book at Pages of Tyme in Big Bear, you should hurry, I think it's almost full. Class is scheduled for November 1 - next Saturday! Also, be sure to go to Tattered Angels web site at mytatteredangels.com to see their beautiful new site and to enter to win their giveaway. Here's a hint - it's a yummy treat, no trickin'. Oh, yeah, on my previous blog entry I posted pictures of the Acrylic Halloween book that I made. When I scanned in the pictures I forgot to do it from back page to front so the last picture you see is actually the front cover. Whoops, my bad. I keep forgetting to scan the last page first. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Cheryl,
I was just checkin out your fall album. How did you get the pages with the matching images. I want them, I need them, I have to know... tell me tell me.
Lauren
Hi Lauren,
I'm not sure which pages you are refering to. Could you give me a little description? Thanks, Cheryl
Your nature book is awesome - was it a punch of a die you used for those oak leaves??
thanks, lois
sorry - I meant was it a punch OR a die you used for those oak leaves?? thanks, lois
Since I can't attend your nature book class can you tell me what the groups of painted leaves made of. Are they fabric or paper that has been cut out? Some lay with the paint/dyed cheesecloth so I thought maybe they might be cut from cheesecloth too or possibly one of primas leaves. Any help here would really be appreciated.
Thanks so much,
Nancy
Hi Lois and Nancy,
the leaves in the book are created using a paper bag sprayed with Glimmer mist. I used a leaf punch to punch them out after spraying and drying the bag. Then I just crinkled them in my hand. Happy glimmering!
Hello again Cheryl:
I will be taking your By The Sea class this sunday up there in Victorville....Do you know if they sell that leaf punch (is it the Mega Oak Leaf punch that you used?) I saw one of your samples at the Ontario expo and it also had the leaves on it - I should have asked these questions there I suppose....Anyway I hope to be able to find this punch - the leaves in person are really lovely. Thank you for your help again....Lois
Hi Lois,
I look forward to seeing you Sunday. The leaf punch I used has no brand name on it, and I've had it forever. Any large oak leaf will work. We don't carry them in the store.
