Ok, some of you know that I've been working on a series of Twilight inspired boxes. Of course, being an Edward girl, I had to make an Edward box first. So here it is, it's only taken me a month to finish it, lol. Coming next: Twilight book series inspired box, and Jacob box. I've also had some requests for a James Dean box, that could be fun. If you like them, email me at email@example.com for more info. And please, leave me a comment here on my blog! Enjoy the eye candy, lol.
Last night we had our monthly Divine Desert Divas Crop and as usual a fabulous time was had by all. Ashley Woods was crowned Diva of the month and we celebrated Terry's birthday, happy birthday Terry! These girls are wild! We also had a new cropper join us, Barbara. She was working diligently on our Scrap Pink decorations. It was busy all night, and then for a few moments I had the room all to myself. Aprile asked me if everyone had abandoned me and I said "Shhhh, I'm getting something done, don't say anything. I looked up and all the girls were standing there staring at me! So I took the opportunity to take a picture of everyone. Too funny girls. So Cheryl still didn't get anything done at the crop(big surprise)lol, but I had a lot of fun which is most important right? Aprile really knows how to throw a crop. If you haven't been to a Diva crop, you must join us. For a wild good time go to www.divinedesertdivas.blogspot.com to sign up. And don't forget, Scrap Pink crop is coming up on September 26th. If you haven't signed up yet, what are you waiting for? A portion of the proceeds from this crop will go to the Susan G.Komen foundation for breast cancer research. You can sign up for that at the Diva blog also. Hope to see you there!
Whoohoo! I have a semi empty house today. All the kids have finally gone back to school. Now, don't get me wrong, I love having the kids home, but I also enjoy my alone time to get caught up on projects, and to clean the house without little people coming behind me and messing up what I've just cleaned. So here is a pic of the girls in their oh so fashionable back to school outfits. Daddy made them breakfast to get them going today, as you can see it worked, lol. It's gonna be a great day!
Our winner for the Divine Desert Diva's monthly challenge is Mindy Baxter. Just look at this adorable layout! The challenge was to create a layout using memorabilia as a page accent. Beautifully done Mindy! To check out what the September challenge is please go to www.divinedesertdivas.blogspot.com
I live in California with my husband, and three daughters. I am an avid scrapbooker, and a Tattered Angels endorsed educator. I am also an educator for Elizabeth Craft Designs (yummy glitter). I teach scrapbooking classes at scrapbook and stamping stores in Southern California. I love using found objects in my scrapbooking, and ribbon, flowers, buttons, bling and of course Glimmer Mist and glitter make regular appearances on my scrapbook pages. My favorite subjects to photograph are my girls. I do something "scrappy" everyday.
