Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was great. The pj's and robes were done on time, and the girls got to enjoy them Christmas eve. It's our family tradition that the girls get to open new pj's on Christmas eve. In fact, they have been in them all Christmas day. I'm a happy mommy. I was at Scrapbook Blvd. the other day and saw these fantastic 7 Gypsies boxes of wonderfulness. You must see them, hurry, when I was there they were going quickly. They are jam packed full of products($70 value) for $35.00. I must get me some! Well, I'm off to try to scrap some of todays pics. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Baby, it's cold outside!

I woke up to snow at 6:00 a.m. this morning! That's right, snow in the desert. It snowed and snowed and snowed... I took 235 pictures! I won't bore you with all of them, but you will be seeing more of them over the next few days. Snow is very exciting for those of us who live in California. I talked to a few people who have lived in this area for a long time and they said they have never seen this much snow here. I put a ruler in a low part of the snow in the back yard and it was 8 inches deep. I played out in it all day today. I didn't do a single thing! No projects, no have to's, no Christmas PJ's got sewn. I'm gonna have to seriously bust out some projects tomorrow, but tonight I'm making stuff with all the snow and winter products I've been buying for years and never had photos for. I'll post more frosty photos tomorrow. Hope no one is stuck in the cajon pass tonight!

Upcoming Classes

Don't forget, this Sunday I'm teaching the Frosty Memories class at Scrapbook Blvd. in Victorville, and then on Saturday December 20th I'm teaching Frosty Memories at Collective Journey in Redlands. You can call the stores to sign up. You will need to bring your heat tool, brayer, and a teflon craft mat if you have one. We will be working with some interesting mediums as well as Glimmer Mist of course! I am also working on some new holiday projects to post on my blog as well so check back often. I'm hoping to do a 12 days of Christmas type thing with a different project from December 12 to 24th (providing time allows). Also, the new Glimmer Mist colors should be arriving the end of this week at Scrapbook Blvd and you know they go fast, so be sure to check with the store Thursday or Friday so you don't miss them, they are BEEUTIFUL! And as always Scrapbook Boulevard students receive 10% off their total purchase of regular priced merchandise the day of class.

Finally!

I am finally, finally done with my holiday tag swags! I have been working on these things for the last three weeks non stop (thats why I haven't updated my blog). I have been making these things for the Holiday Craft Faire in Upland Saturday. Sadly, I only sold two. So if your interested in purchasing one email me at luliscraps@yahoo.com
I have plenty left, but the orders are coming in, and once they are gone they are so gone. I don't think I'll be doing them again next year. Each one takes 6 to 8 hours to complete, and there are 21 yards of ribbon and tulle on each swag. They are beautiful though. Maybe I'll feel better about them later, now I'm suffering from tag swag exhaustion. My friend Penny came up with the name "Tag Swag". We had a great view of the parade Saturday, and the girls were excited to see a parade so close up. My daughter Hannah pretty much played in the snow all day (no it doesn't snow in Upland, there was a snow machine). My oldest daughter Jordan shopped all day, and my other daughter Morgan hung with me in the booth. My friends Pat and Janelle shared the booth with me. I think Etsy may be a better way to go instead of craft fairs. If you need to see a better photo of the tag swags, send me an email and I will email you a better pic.

By the Sea Class

These are some photos of the "By the Sea" class I taught at Scrapbook Blvd. These ladies were great fun, and they did a fabulous job with their projects.
