Tattered Angels has launched a new philanthropic effort called Glimmer of Hope. This program will feature causes that are near and dear to the Tattered Angels customers, staff, educators and designers. Tattered Angels will release a featured product for a cause and donate a portion of the proceeds to research or non profit organizations supporting the cause. You will only be able to purchase the featured product from the Tattered Angels Website and it will only be available for a limited time, so check the website often for updates. The first product release is "Piece of Heart" a limited edition glimmer mist color shown above. Liz Hicks and Patti Slade developed this color for Autism Awareness, a cause near and dear to both of them, and many others. For their touching stories please visit the Tattered Angels Educator blog
here to read about how Autism has touched their lives.
I will be doing a Tattered Angels make and take at the Scrapbook Royalty event "Scare Away Autism" a Twilight Crafting Extravaganza on April 17th at Jazi Crafts in Oceanside, CA. Please go to the Scrapbook Royalty site
here for the details. Donna Salazar of Donna Salazar Designs will be the MC for the event. She will be doing demos of her Distrezzitall tool and products, along with Michael Strong, Nan Paturzo of Zutter, and myself. It will be a fun time for a great cause, so don't miss it! Also, Scrapbook Royalty has announced "Club Royalty". If you would like to be involved in Club Royalty please visit the Scrapbook Royalty site for details.
